How to become a member of the Alliance

Joining the Alliance for European Flax-Linen & Hemp is subject to specific conditions and a collective decision.

Requirements for becoming an Alliance member

To become a member, candidates must meet the following criteria: 

  • They must be headquartered in Europe
  • Their business must fall into one of the six categories covered by the sections of the Alliance:
    • Growing 
    • Scutching 
    • Spinning or Preparation for spinning
    • Weaving/Knitting
    • Business (Trading)
    • Technical Uses

Depending on the candidate's professional activity, the Alliance consults and steers them towards the section most aligned with their interests. The membership of the Alliance may be attained by meeting the criteria and upon the decision of the relevant section.
